This will be completed through the university prior to enrolment. • Your personal statement is expected to demonstrate: a professional attitude, effective communication skills, good time-management skills, an awareness of your own strengths and weaknesses/limitations, an insight into Mental Health Nursing, care environments and current issues in contemporary nursing or health care, an ability to work both independently and as part of a team, motivation and a commitment to the course, an ability to solve problems and to think creatively and a capacity for leadership. • Shortlisted candidates must attend an interview in person.
