An upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in a relevant social science discipline such as sociology social work psychology economics political science management history philosophy and law. Degrees from other fields may also be considered;

OR an upper second-class honours degree (or equivalent) in any subject and a master's degree in social work; OR a professional qualification in social work and relevant professional or voluntary experience. A professional social work qualification is not a requirement for admission to the programme. For IELTS waiver: English at 80% and above in Standard XII and an MOI on Letter head of College confirming that English is the medium of instructions
